We accept most of the Third-Party Insurance: Great West Life, Sunlife, Manulife, Alberta Blue Cross and Greenshield. See the full list here.
Just bring your insurance card to your first appointment, and we will set up the billing process for you. We will determine how much your plan covers, and you will be responsible to pay any costs not covered by your insurance plan.
Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) Coverage
If you have been injured at work, take steps to make a claim in a timely manner.
If you have injured yourself at work, inform your employer, and you need to file a claim through the Worker’s Compensation Board, and inform them of the accident that took place.
If you are injured at work, WCB will normally approve up to 3 treatment visits per week over a period of4 weeks.
WCB pays for the first visit and after reports are submitted, they will notify us if you claim has been accepted.
Motor Vehicle Accident Insurance
If you have been injured in a car accident, seek treatment as soon as possible.
Initially you need to file an injury accident report to your insurance company, this will open up a motor vehicle claim that will help you get the treatment you need.
Your insurance company will normally pre-approve up to 21 treatment visits over a 12-week period.
You can consult a licensed physiotherapist directly and you do not need a physician referral.
You will be required to fill out an AB-1 and AB-2 form to the Insurance company. These are available from the Trust Care Physio Team. Your insurance will authorize a certain number of physical therapy and massage therapy treatments based on the injuries that you sustained.
Your physical therapist will assist you in the authorization process.
